Bambee is on a mission to transform HR for small businesses. We're building an AI-driven platform that gives the 96% of small businesses without dedicated HR the tools, protection, and workforce intelligence they need to compete and we need someone to build the data foundation that makes it all possible.
We're looking for a hands-on Data Architect who can design the blueprint and build the systems that power our data ecosystem.
This is a high-impact role where you'll own the full data lifecycle—from data architecture and governance to pipelines, warehousing, and analytics infrastructure. You'll work directly with engineering, product, and business leaders to shape how data drives product decisions, business intelligence, and AI-powered experiences across Bambee.
What you'll be working on:
• Designing and owning Bambee's data architecture, models, and governance standards
• Building reliable ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows
• Managing and optimizing our data warehouse environment
• Creating the foundation for reporting, analytics, and AI/ML initiatives
• Partnering cross-functionally to ensure data is trusted, accessible, and actionable
What we're looking for:
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering and/or data architecture
• Strong SQL skills and experience with modern data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
• Hands-on experience with dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, or similar tools
• Deep understanding of data modeling and warehouse design principles
• A builder mindset with the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment
