amfAR is seeking a Data Analyst (Biostatistician / Web Developer) for a full-time, on-site position in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, modeling, and interpreting data to support ongoing HIV/AIDS research initiatives. Key responsibilities include developing statistical models, conducting data analysis, creating visualizations, and maintaining web-based tools for data reporting. The role also involves working closely with cross-functional teams to communicate findings and deliver insights that influence research strategies and initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree or demonstrated background in biostatistics, economics, general statistics, or mathematics is required, as well as knowledge of standard statistical software packages (STATA, SAS, SPSS or R). Database programming skills highly preferred (Python, MySQL, Postgre, MSSQL, etc), as well as experience with website development software (Django, PHP, HTML, Javascript). Familiarity with Linux encouraged.
