DARE Pool Gate Attendant assists with daily preparations for pool opening, responsible for gate entry while pool is open and assists with daily closing procedures. Provides warm welcome to guests, processes guests for entry to pool, processes cabana sales and answers guest questions, all while providing outstanding service.

  • Gets the keys and cabana request forms from Pool Supervisor's office.
  • Unlocks front gate and towels booth and returns keys right away
  • Checks towel bin and ensures clean towels are available. Rolls and stocks up clean towels in pool attendant’s cabana
  • Opens all cabanas and wipes down cabana tables, TV refrigerator, and chairs
  • Checks that cabana TVs, TV remotes, and refrigerators are in working condition and checks for cabana damages. If repairs are needed, will call Maintenance.
  • Sets up lounge umbrellas and places the covers by towel booth. Unfolds all lounge chairs. Straightens furniture around pool and in cabanas.
  • Checks restroom cleanliness and calls TBC if they are needed to be cleaned

  • Checks the Pandora station room, makes sure the music system is operational, and then turns it on. If it is not working, will call Maintenance.

  • Uses the power washer to clean drink stains on the pool cement around cabanas and pool areas

  • Gets the assigned bracelet's color for today's' operation from the pool office or Supervisor

  • Be knowledgeable of any cover charges, entry fees, and drink specials for the day

  • Check the trash cans and make sure they are empty and with trash bags, and ready for use. If they are full, call TBC.

  • Gets the bracelet and pool attendants plastic kit with forms, cash drop bags, etc from the Supervisor

  • Gets change fund from the Supervisor at least 30 minutes before opening and counts bank to ensure it is $500.00. Ensure you have available printer tapes, pens, void stamp, and stapler
