About the Role

We are hiring a Research Associate II, Cytology to support research, development, and manufacturing laboratory activities. This role focuses on designing and executing experiments, analyzing results, maintaining compliant documentation, and contributing to cross-functional project goals in a regulated laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and document laboratory experiments with minimal supervision
• Analyze data, interpret findings, and present technical summaries
• Prepare reports, protocols, and quantitative analyses
• Troubleshoot laboratory issues and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with GMP, GLP, and quality standards
• Collaborate with team members on project planning and process improvements
• Support training of peers and uphold Quality First Time principles
• Assist in identifying innovative and potentially patentable solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Science-related field
• 2 to 4 years of relevant post-college laboratory experience
• Hands-on experience with cytology specimens and slide preparation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work onsite in a laboratory environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Hologic ThinPrep Processor 2000 / T2000
• Experience with Hologic ThinPrep Totalys Slide Processor
• Exposure to regulated environments and quality systems
