Basic Qualifications:Active Secret Clearance
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certificate such as CompTIA Security+, CySA, CCNA Security, SSCP or GSEC
B.S. degree in a technical discipline such as Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Security, or Information Technology – or equivalent applied experience
Ability to travel as required
Desired Skills:- DoD Classified or SAP Experience
- Proven hands‑on implementation across design, build, hardening, and sustainment phases.
- Proficient with enterprise cybersecurity tools—including Tenable Nessus/ACAS for vulnerability management, Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator (HBSS) for endpoint security, and SIEM platforms (Splunk or Elastic Stack) for centralized logging, correlation, and audit support.
- Strong knowledge of Windows AD, RHEL‑based Linux, and secure configuration management aligned to STIG baselines.
- Provide hands‑on technical implementation and enforcement—beyond documentation—covering vulnerability remediation, audit readiness, and rigorous control validation.
- Skilled in vulnerability and compliance analysis, interpreting scan results and driving remediation across system, network, and application layers.
- Proven ability to work with engineering, network, and platform teams to embed security.
- Experience with containerized environments and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of container security practices: image scanning, hardening, and secure CI/CD deployment pipelines.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
