Job Title: Sr. Cybersecurity Senior Specialist (Cybersecurity Advisory)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Senior Specialist to serve as a trusted advisor to product development teams. This role focuses on secure architecture, design, and hands-on guidance throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring deep, real-world experience in application security and the ability to influence engineering teams toward building secure, scalable products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with product and engineering teams to guide secure architecture and design decisions
- Provide advisory support during design, development, and code review stages
- Interpret results from vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and compliance assessments
- Identify security risks early and recommend practical, scalable solutions
- Support secure development practices across modern application and cloud environments
- Act as a subject matter expert in application and product security
Required Qualifications:
- Senior-level experience in cybersecurity advisory, application security, or security architecture
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices and software development lifecycles
- Experience working with cloud-native architectures and modern application stacks
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to provide real-world, practical security guidance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms
- Knowledge of API security, authentication, and identity (SSO, token-based systems)
- Exposure to software supply chain security and open-source risk management
- Background in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, etc.)
- Hands-on coding experience or ability to guide developers on secure coding practices
Nice to Have:
- Experience with mobile applications, embedded systems, or connected devices
- Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI/ML (not required)
