Customer Success Manager, K-12 Ed-Tech

The Customer Success Manager reports to the Director of Growth.


We're looking for a high-agency self-starter who genuinely loves education and picks up new technology quickly. You'll build real relationships with the people in our Louisiana school districts who use OnCourse every day — helping them get the most value out of the platform, training their teams, and being a steady, responsive presence when they need one. You'll be trained on OnCourse and work closely with Sales, Marketing, Project Management, and Support.


This role splits time between customer success and business development. Most of the work can happen remotely, but we love spending meaningful time with our partners — regular district visits across Louisiana are a core part of the job.


Responsibilities
  • Build and sustain real relationships with key contacts across Louisiana school districts — clients and prospects alike — making strong connections quickly and nurturing them over time
  • Help schools get the most out of their OnCourse suite through training, consulting, and hands-on problem-solving
  • Serve as a sharp, responsive triage point for urgent issues; route users to Support or Development as needed
  • Design and deliver presentations at education conferences, recruiting co-presenters when appropriate
  • Organize and facilitate remote and in-person user groups
  • Support Sales and Marketing through webinars and onsite product demonstrations
  • Stay current on Louisiana K-12 priorities — LDOE initiatives, accountability metrics, and emerging policy trends
  • Communicate with the broader Louisiana education community through blogs, videos, newsletters, and other channels

  • Strong relationship-builder — you make genuine connections with educators and administrators quickly and sustain them over time
  • Strong communication and persuasive skills — you can internalize the value of OnCourse and make a compelling case for it to any audience
  • 2+ years of K-12 education experience (classroom, district, or ed-tech)
  • Experience with OnCourse — or other SIS, LMS, Assessment, or MTSS platforms — is a major advantage
  • Excellent written and spoken communication
  • Strong presentation skills for trainings and demonstrations
  • Ability and desire to travel within Louisiana for regular district visits


Compensation

Salary Range: $72,000–$75,000 + bonus/commission (paid on training sessions sold)
