DESCRIPTION

We are hiring multiple Customer Service Representatives for our Insurance / Financial Service partner! Due to business growth, we need to increase Customer Service Representatives to better support customers. The Customer Service Representative will work with liability and insurance professionals to solve problems and provide solutions for customers. Customer interactions can be difficult, as urgent support is needed. Candidates for this role must control professionalism at all times and maintain the ability to empathize, de-escalate and provide prompt communication.

DUTIES

  • Work in a Call Center environment to handle 100+ inbound and outbound calls per shift.
  • Navigate the website to assist with general policy questions, process payments and more.
  • Work with professionals to include nurse practitioners, speech pathologists, healthcare, insurance and financial professionals.
  • Handle calls from providers to check eligibility and/or claim status for members.
  • Respond to difficult customer inquiries regarding products and services via phone and email.
  • Communicate via phone and email with professional grammar, dialogue and content.
  • Research customer inquiries and follow up with customers to close cases.
  • Maintain the ability to troubleshoot basic website errors and questions.
  • Assist customers with payments and payment related questions, policy changes by explaining coverages, rate changes, etc.
  • Respond formally to correspondence, utilizing all reference material necessary to provide an informed response.
  • Request additional/missing information from the customer via written or verbal communication.
  • Document client issues and escalate issues to appropriate parties to resolve.
  • Assist with L&H or P&C insurance policy questions.
  • Maintain flexibility in schedule and mange calendar appropriately.

SHIFT

  • 1st shift core hours
  • 8:30am-5:00pmCST, no flexibility
  • Monday-Friday
  • Weekend Shifts as well

This is a Contract position based out of Urbandale, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.31 - $17.31/hr.
