Customer Service Representative

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to support quoting, order entry, and customer satisfaction initiatives in a manufacturing environment. This role works closely with customers and cross-functional internal teams throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate communication, order management, and service delivery.

This position is ideal for someone with hands-on manufacturing experience who enjoys working with technical drawings and supporting time-sensitive customer projects in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare customer quotes and estimates based on conceptual engineering prints
• Enter and manage customer orders accurately in the ERP system
• Assist with evaluation and approval of design changes, specifications, and drawing releases
• Interact with customers and internal departments throughout product development stages
• Provide timely customer follow-up to ensure satisfaction on existing accounts
• Coordinate with internal teams to manage products, orders, and delivery timelines
• Discuss multiple products and services in a fast-paced environment
• Support customers with urgent and time-sensitive tasks and projects

Required Qualifications (Must Haves)

• 1–3 years of experience in customer service, sales support, or account management
• Previous hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment (e.g., machinist, engineer, or similar role)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience using CRM systems
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machining of plastic and metal parts
• Knowledge of high-performance plastic polymers
• Experience working with ERP systems such as Epicor or SAP

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Libertyville, IL.

The pay range for this position is $66500.00 - $83100.00/yr.

10% quartly bonus for hitting sales goals

This is a fully onsite position in Libertyville,IL.

This position is anticipated to close on May 12, 2026.
