Becker Americas is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their growing team. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for processing orders and processing quotes, addressing customer needs and ensuring they have a positive experience.


Responsibilities

  • Maintains and builds an ongoing relationship with selected customers and sales staff.
  • Knows and understands both pumps and parts and can process requests for both.
  • Records and processes orders and inquiries received by email, telephone, online, and through customer contact.
  • Maintains backorders and sends to shop when receiving paperwork is completed.
  • Provides pricing, availability, and schedule information within established guidelines.
  • Serves as communication link between customers and sales staff to assure responsiveness.
  • Works closely with the entire Becker team to ensure customer requests are communicated and resolved in a manner that exceeds the customer’s expectations.
  • Responsible for follow up with customers and distributors on receipt of order, order status, notes, and shipping info when order is shipped.
  • Maintain customer correspondence
  • Responsible for internal follow up on customer requests, product information requests and sales orders.
  • Develops relationship with Becker Warehouse personnel.
  • Maintain and oversee the new Becker online parts website.
  • Responsible for maintaining the customer computerized file.
  • Demonstrates Becker values and shares the organizational commitment to ensuring quality products, service, and processes.


Qualifications


  • Demonstrated ability to use ERP systems as well as MS Outlook, MS Word, & MS Excel and Salesforce.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate information verbally and in writing
  • Speak clearly and persuasively
  • Willingness and ability to make timely decisions, using sound and accurate judgment
  • Works effectively with others in the organization outside the line of formal authority (such as peers in other units or senior management) to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.
