Sandhill Cove is recruiting for a hospitality focused Custodian/Janitor to join our team!  This position is responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas.  

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Custodian/Janitor:

• Follows cleaning schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, etc) as outlined for Housekeeping Department.  Cleans assigned areas, furnishings, fixtures, gutters, power washing outside walkways, resident patios, parking areas, etc. according to established procedures.
• Cleans floors:  Dry mop, wet mop, sweeps, disinfects where and when necessary.  Cleans carpeting and rugs:  vacuums carpeting, shampoo & extract carpets and rugs.
• Straightens or rearranges furniture, as directed.  Inspects furnishings for wear and defects and reports to supervisor.
• Cleans stairways, entrances, exits.
• Performs miscellaneous other duties such as but not limited, removing waste and disposal of waste and trash, sending soiled linen to laundry.
• Washes windows inside and outside of residential and commons area.

Shift:  4p to 8pm every other weekend - flexible schedule (12 - 20 hours a week)

Starting hourly rate:  $17.00
