Position Title: CTO Business Operations Manager

 

Your role

As a member of the Business Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations across the CTO related organizations including IT, Product & Engineering, InfoSec, CDO, and AEG.  You will oversee budgeting, procurement components, vendor management, and operational tracking while collaborating closely with the business leaders of these groups. In addition, you will manage ad hoc projects, drive efficiencies and improvements, and perform critical reporting to help ensure operational excellence and accountability.

 

 

 

What you’ll do

  • Helping manage comprehensive budgeting processes, including the creation, tracking, and reporting of actuals to maintain financial integrity and accuracy
  • Engaging in procurement activities, including purchase order (PO) creation, process, and documentation retention and compliance
  • Assisting and helping ensure efficient accounts payable (AP) and accounting processes, including assistance with accruals, receiving management, and timely vendor payment
  • Capture, tracking, and liaison with project teams separately and in PMO areas and maintaining current financial status progress and updates
  • Assisting and expanding CTO and sub-group level reporting to provide clear insights into operational performance, risks and opportunities
  • Building and growing partnerships with the business leaders and driving alignment across operational processes
  • Strong knowledge and experience of GAAP accounting and rules
  • Expertise in budgeting and financial actual/budget tracking processes
  • Knowledge and proficiency in PO creation, documentation retention and compliance, engagement tracking, management, and receiving/accrual processes
  • Experience with managing productive internal and external partnerships and relationships, including vendor and business partner relationships
  • Familiarity and experience with ERP financial systems, including procurement, AP, GL, and reporting in a fast paced and at times self-solving environment
  • Proven ability to manage ad hoc projects and deliver insightful reporting at leadership levels
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with business leads and cross-functional teams
  • Drive and success in improving processes and efficiencies

Our Compensation Philosophy

Digital Realty offers its employees a highly competitive compensation package, excellent benefits, and an environment that recognizes and rewards your contributions. Central to our compensation philosophy is rewarding our employees for achieving the values and objectives aligned to the company's overall goals and values.

 

Our published pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and geographical location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. Moreover, an employee’s total compensation package varies by role and may include salary, cash bonus or commissions, and equity awards not quantified below.

 

Compensation range: $120,000-130,000 annually. This compensation range represents the Company’s good faith belief as to what it will pay as a base salary this position at the time of this posting.
