“This position provides weekend coverage for the radiology department every other weekend for general x-ray and CT. Shifts are a combination of in-department and on-call beginning Friday 7:00 am continuous until Monday 7:00 am. The employee will be in the department during specific hours and required to be within a 20 minute response time during on-call hours. A sleep room is available on-site for on-call shifts.”

Shift: This is every other weekend Friday morning - Monday morning Lifestyle Call position with some shifts in the department required.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients.

  • Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order.

  • Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity.

  • Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.

  • Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.

Qualifications:

  • Must have relevant credentials as defined below:

  • Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).

  • PreviousCT experience preferred.CTcredential(ARRT or NMTCB)preferred.

  • Maintains active registry status.

  • Maintains current state of employment Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License

  • Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.

  • Maintains Basic Life Support qualification
