A brand-new Psychiatric Stabilization Program in Morris County is seeking passionate, mission-driven New Jersey Licensed Clinicians (LCSW or LPC) to help launch and shape a first-of-its-kind behavioral health initiative designed to transform how psychiatric crisis services are delivered within the community.

Position Overview: The Licensed Clinician will provide direct therapeutic support and crisis intervention services to adults experiencing acute psychiatric and behavioral health crises within a 24-hour Psychiatric Stabilization setting. Clinicians will work collaboratively with nursing, psychiatric, and leadership teams to provide trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care while helping consumers safely stabilize and transition back into the community


Choose Between Days OR Night Shift

*Day Shift= 7a.m.-7p.m. + 7a.m.-11 a.m. (3.5 Days per week)

*Night Shift= 7p.m.- 7 a.m. + 7p.m.-11 p.m. (3.5 Days per week)


Responsibilities:

Provide crisis intervention, therapeutic support, and clinical assessment services Develop individualized treatment, wellness, and safety plans

Support consumers and families through stabilization and discharge planning

Promote a recovery-oriented and trauma-informed therapeutic environment

Collaborate closely with psychiatric providers and interdisciplinary staff

Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

Assist in fostering a safe, supportive, and healing environment

Participate in program development, staff trainings, and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • MUST possess active New Jersey LCSW or LPC License
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with Serious Mental Illness (SMI), Crisis, Inpatient Psychiatry, Behavioral Health, or Co-Occurring populations
  • Strong clinical judgment and crisis intervention skills
  • Passion for community Behavioral Health and program development
  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking clinicians encouraged to apply
