Position Overview:
The Illinois State Police (ISP) is seeking to fill the role of Criminal Intelligence Analyst I. This position will be working under direct supervision, performs developmental-level intelligence casework in the Offender Registration Unit. The position reviews and assesses complex offender‑related intelligence, gathers and organizes sensitive information from ISP reports and other law enforcement sources, and compiles profiles to support investigative and patrol operations. The analyst assists with producing rapid-response intelligence products, including alerts, bulletins, and threat assessments, and performs related duties as assigned.
