POSITION SUMMARY:
This position directs the activities of the members supervised within the Biology Section of the Tampa Bay Regional Operations Center Crime Laboratory. This position oversees the hiring and training of staff members, as well as implementing the quality assurance program. The ability to communicate with, lead, and motivate members is essential. Skill in establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with criminal justice partners is required.

Note: Professional experience in one of the disciplines for which the position will supervise can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

Starting salary will be at the minimum of the class pay range, unless otherwise dictated by FDLE's pay policy. The elements of this selection process may include a work sample and/or interview. Future vacancies may be filled from this position advertisement.
