The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our Sherman Oaks, CA office as an Analyst on the Credit Team. The Credit Analyst will be responsible for the due diligence, underwriting and final structuring for all RTL packages within the Spreo Capital platform. The position will provide the candidate with the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of responsible private lending through loan structure, credit analysis, and capital markets management. The successful candidate will be looking to grow with the company. Ideal candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years of experience in credit/underwriting, loan structuring, real estate valuation, mortgage lending and/or real estate.
Key Responsibilities
· Evaluate loan structure and credit guidelines to ensure compliance with lending & underwriting standards
· Research sales and rental comparables for multifamily and residential real estate valuation analysis
· Manage and review appraisal orders to uphold compliance with internal valuation standards
· Analyze project construction budgets to ensure feasibility and compliance with lending program guidelines
· Perform and review all due diligence required to evaluate the borrower and asset
· Work closely with internal partners to assist in moving loans from initial prescreening through funding
· Structure and underwrite DSCR loans for adherence with investor guidelines
· Complete loan portfolio reporting and overall data management
· Work within Lending Wise to ensure loan data integrity.
· Other Ad-Hoc projects as assigned
Qualifications
· 2-5 years of relevant experience in Credit/Underwriting, Loan Structuring, Real Estate Valuation, mortgage lending, and/or Real Estate
· Bachelor’s degree (preferably in finance, Business or related field)
· Ability to analyze complex loan structures and real estate development projects
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Proficient in MS Word and Excel
· Data analysis and visualization skills a plus
· Private money and construction lending experience a plus
Compensation & Benefits
· Competitive Base Salary (From $75,000 to $85,000 per year)

Work Location: This is four (4) days a week in-office role at 15250 Ventura Boulevard, Sherman Oaks, CA. Remote work optional on Fridays.
