Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Loan Credit Analyst to evaluate creditworthiness and support lending decisions. This role involves analyzing financial data, assessing risk, and ensuring loan applications meet internal policies and regulatory procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze loan applications, financial statements, credit reports, and supporting documentation
• Assess borrower creditworthiness and risk levels using financial ratios, cash flow analysis, and credit models
• Prepare detailed credit analysis reports and recommendations for approval or denial
• Monitor existing loan portfolios to identify potential risks or delinquencies
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and management to support decision-making
• Maintain accurate and organized records of credit evaluations and decisions
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with loan investments
• Support the underwriting and due diligence process for new loan originations
• Travel occasionally to review projects
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Experience in credit analysis, lending, or financial services is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in financial analysis tools and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of credit principles, risk assessment, and financial statement analysis
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A keen interest in real estate finance and investment
