This entry-level crane operator role involves handling and moving steel materials in a fast-paced, industrial environment. You will prepare, load, and unload materials using an overhead crane and related equipment while following work orders and safety procedures. Work Environment
The role is based in a modern, clean industrial facility dedicated to flat steel products, built in 2015. The shop operates with a lean staffing model, so team members stay busy from the start to the end of their shifts, driven by a performance-based incentive program. The environment is fast-paced, with a strong focus on teamwork and cooperation to move materials efficiently and safely. This position is for third shift, working 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Monday through Friday. You will work around cranes, forklifts, saws, grinding equipment, and other industrial machinery, following established safety procedures in a friendly and supportive setting.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
