Join a fast-paced and detail-driven courtroom environment as a Court Case Manager II, where your work directly supports the administration of justice. In this role, you will review legal documents to ensure compliance with court rules, statutes, and local procedures, while managing case activity through a computerized tracking system. You will record courtroom events during minor offense hearings, enter case dispositions in CourtView, distribute files, and provide essential backup support across rotating clerical desks within the criminal and traffic division.

This position involves managing cases from start to finish, including accepting and screening charging documents, calendaring arraignments, and coordinating prisoner transport with correctional facilities. You will maintain accurate records in OnBase and CourtView, process motions, judicial orders, and appellate decisions, and generate court documents as directed by judicial officers. Your responsibilities will also include reviewing files and judgments for accuracy, recalling warrants, closing and reopening cases as needed, and ensuring timely distribution of case outcomes to all relevant parties and agencies.

You will handle a wide range of case-related tasks such as processing dismissals to facilitate defendant release, managing grand jury and search warrant documents, and responding to inquiries from the public and court staff. The role also includes conducting financial interviews to determine eligibility for court-appointed counsel, assisting during representation hearings, and supporting probation-related case actions, including petitions to revoke probation and subsequent court orders.

Collaboration and adaptability are key, as you will assist with training staff, provide coverage across multiple desks, and support daily operations within the division. Additional duties may be assigned based on court needs, and responsibilities may evolve as processes change.

This role may require temporary weekend and holiday work, including scheduled rotations where you may work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays with adjusted days off during the same work week. The Work Hours

Full-time court employees are currently scheduled to work 37.5 hours per week. The work hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break.After training this position may be required to work weekends and/or holidays on occasion.

Graduation from high school or completion of a General Education Development (GED) certificate AND completion of a two-year paralegal curriculum from an accredited institution.
