Job Summary:
Administer Occupational Therapy treatments to patients working under the plan of care developed by the Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions1. Carry out the Occupational Therapy plan of care as developed by the Occupational Therapist effectively and efficiently.
2. Provide therapy at a productivity level determined by the Clinical Coordinator and/or the Director of Rehab Services.
3. Promote the overall Rehab/Therapy services of Decatur Morgan Hospital, and Occupational Therapy services specifically.
4. Perform other tasks in Rehab Services as directed by the Clinical Coordinator and/or the Director of Rehab Services.
Qualifications
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required: Those obtained through completing the degree program and obtaining a professional license. Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license from the State of Alabama. CPR Certification.Education: AA degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Experience: No experience required. Experience working with patients in the areas of Hand Therapy, Shoulder Therapy and Neurological Therapy preferred.
