Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking top-caliber, professional Security Officers to support a high-profile corporate office environment in downtown Houston, TX. This position requires individuals who are polished, dependable, and capable of interacting confidently with senior executives of a global oil & gas organization. Officers must embody professionalism, situational awareness, and strong customer service skills at all times.
Schedule & Compensation
- Shifts Available: Various schedules available
- Primary Coverage Need: Monday – Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional security presence within a corporate executive office environment
- Control access to the facility and monitor authorized entry and exit
- Conduct interior and exterior patrols to ensure the safety and security of personnel, assets, and property
- Serve as a visible deterrent to unauthorized activity and respond appropriately to incidents or emergencies
- Interact professionally with executives, employees, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service
- Monitor security systems, alarms, and surveillance equipment as required
- Prepare accurate and timely incident reports and daily activity logs
- Enforce client policies, safety procedures, and security protocols
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Security
- Law Enforcement
- Military service
- Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for an executive corporate setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm, alert, and effective in high-visibility or sensitive situations
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a corporate, executive, or high-profile security environment
- Customer service or concierge-style security background
- Familiarity with access control systems and incident reporting tools
