Corporate Investigations Specialist (Secondment)

Entrusted Advisors is expanding our panel of corporate investigations professionals to support our clients' in-house legal, compliance, and HR teams in the Chicago market. We are seeking investigators with experience in the areas of harassment and discrimination and workplace violence and misconduct. As an Entrusted Advisors professional, you will be placed on an on-demand or ongoing basis with leading corporate clients. Current client demand is concentrated in the Chicago area, with hybrid on-site availability required for most engagements.

What You'll Do

• Lead impartial workplace investigations involving allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, policy violations, workplace violence, and/or misconduct
• Conduct in-person and virtual interviews of employees, vendors, and other stakeholders across functional levels
• Identify, gather, analyze, and preserve documentary and physical evidence
• Prepare clear, comprehensive investigative reports for distribution to legal counsel, HR, labor relations, and senior leadership
• Review peer reports to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to investigative standards

What You Bring

• 3–5+ years of corporate investigative experience
• Deep working knowledge of federal and state employment laws
• Strong analytical, fact-finding, and evidence-gathering skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to senior audiences
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive, confidential matters with discretion
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously with sound prioritization and time management
• Comfort working across all levels of an organization and building credibility quickly
