Corporate Event Specialist

As a Corporate Event Specialist or "Project Specialist" internally. You will take on corporate events, incentive travel planning, and misc projects independently, from initial conception through to completion, while also managing confidential matters with discretion. This involves managing the event/project from cradle to grave.

Responsibilities
Executive Support & Representation • Represent by coordinating company events, addressing inquiries, and scheduling meetings. Attend sessions and ensure smooth communication with all stakeholders. • Coordinate travel arrangements, develop itineraries and agendas, book transportation, and arrange accommodations to ensure seamless logistics for incentive trips, corporate meetings and events. • Manage conflicting priorities by addressing urgent matters proactively and ensuring the timely completion of projects under pressure. • Handle credit card processing and reconciliation tasks efficiently.
Strategic & Leadership Assistance • Assist key leaders in formulating strategy, making consistent decisions, and facilitating communication across the organization. • Act as a liaison between multiple departments, key leaders, The Raymond Corporation, and Raymond Dealers, fostering collaboration and smooth communication. • Support other functions within the company, demonstrating flexibility, teamwork, and a collaborative spirit.
Project & Time Management • Manage conflicting priorities by proactively addressing urgent matters and ensuring timely project completion under pressure. • Evaluate processes to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, implementing necessary changes. • Plan and execute events from start to finish, including banquets, team meetings, and holiday gatherings. • Assist with Associate recognition initiatives to promote a positive work culture.
Professional Development & Continuous Improvement • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining professional networks. • Enhance the company’s reputation by taking ownership of new challenges, exploring opportunities to add value, and supporting the overall goals of the organization. • Perform any other duties as assigned or required to support the company's overall operations and objectives.

Requirements
All potential hires are subject to pre-employment checks which include but are not limited to background checks, drug screenings, and motor vehicle record checks. • A college degree or equivalent experience is preferred; a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a professional office environment is required. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is essential. • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening, are required, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people, including management and co-workers. • Results-driven with strong organizational skills and self-structure, capable of managing priorities, handling multiple tasks, and meeting deadlines.

Travel Requirements: This position will require 25% travel, primarily consisting of regular day travel within the southeast region, with occasional overnight travel for meetings or conferences.
