🚨 We’re Hiring: Corporate Counsel / Business Relationship Manager II

We are seeking a versatile and business-minded legal professional to join our growing team in Ann Arbor, MI (hybrid: Mon, Tue, Thu onsite). For the right person we are open to people living outside of Michigan.

This is a high-impact opportunity reporting to the Associate General Counsel within a lean, collaborative legal team (currently 2 attorneys + 1 senior corporate paralegal). You’ll serve as a trusted advisor across corporate governance and general corporate legal matters, helping shape how legal support is delivered across the business.

🔹 What You’ll Do:

• Lead corporate governance activities, including board meeting preparation, minutes, and documentation
• Support entity maintenance and corporate records management
• Field day-to-day legal questions from internal business partners
• Partner with finance and tax stakeholders on cross-functional matters
• Leverage and manage outside counsel when needed
• Provide generalist legal support across a publicly traded environment

🔹 What We’re Looking For:

• Active U.S. bar license (MI not required)
• 7+ years of experience in corporate law (in-house and/or law firm)
• Strong background in corporate governance and board support
• Experience with publicly traded companies and SEC-related work strongly preferred
• Practical, business-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
