Corporate Accounting Manager

We are currently partnering with a well-established regional real estate developer to identify a Corporate Accounting Manager to join their team in the DFW area.

This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, offering strong visibility and leadership responsibility within a growing organization.

We’re open to two profiles:

• A strong public accounting (Big 4 or similar) Manager ready to transition into the industry

OR

• An industry accounting professional (homebuilding/construction experience preferred) stepping into a management role

Location

• Irving, Texas
• In-office 5 days/week

Compensation

• Base: $135K–$165K
• Bonus: 15%

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting (required)
• CPA (strongly preferred)
• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 3+ years of leadership experience
• Public accounting background strongly preferred
• Experience in residential construction/homebuilding is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee general ledger and accounting operations across multiple entities
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage audit processes and external relationships
• Drive process improvements, internal controls, and system optimization
• Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives
• Lead, mentor, and develop an accounting team
