Position Overview
Employees of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church are ministers and accept as part of their terms of employment and ministerial responsibility to be part of our community and support parish life.
The Coordinator of Youth Ministry will assist the parish’s effort in ministry for young people; aid parents in their role as primary catechists, help to facilitate other experiences that develop student’s love for Christ and desire to grow in their faith. The Coordinator of Youth Ministry helps to integrate a love for Jesus and understanding of our faith into a comprehensive ministry for the youth of the parish through Jr High and High School meetings, sacramental preparation for Confirmation, and other activities such as retreats, camps, and conferences which we see essential to good youth ministry.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to be in an office at a computer workstation and access information from a computer and use a telephone. The employee is required to be mobile to, from, and within the pastoral center, as well as maneuver throughout the facility to attend meetings, briefings, and other work-related events. The employee may be required to conduct trips to, from, and within various city and county-wide locations to attend meetings or events. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
