Description
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Seasonal Line Cook to join our poolside kitchen team for the 2026 summer season. You’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items in a fast-paced outdoor environment, ensuring high food quality and excellent guest service. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys summer vibes, working in the open air, and being part of a fun team.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items to order, following recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with prep work, inventory management, and restocking
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Ensure all food leaving the kitchen is fresh, hot, and well-presented
- Operate grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow opening and closing procedures for the kitchen daily
- Contribute to a positive and team-focused atmosphere
Qualifications:
- Prior kitchen or line cook experience preferred, especially in fast-casual or outdoor settings
- Food Handler’s Certificate (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Dependable, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays throughout the summer season
- Dependable means of transportation to work location
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds individually
