Job Title: Food Services Worker

Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Food Services Worker at a retirement home community in Wichita, KS, serving a small community of 80 residents. This position offers a fulfilling opportunity to provide high-quality food services in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food for the residents.
• Assist with dishwashing and busing tables in the cafeteria.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service.

Essential Skills

• Experience in foodservice and hospitality.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to perform cleaning and food preparation tasks.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and every other weekend.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast food environment is preferred.
• Experience in food service is advantageous.
• Ability to stand and work on feet during shifts.

Work Environment

The work environment is a retirement home community located in Wichita, KS. Employees will work either from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm or 11:00 am to 7:00 pm with shifts every other weekend. The facility promotes a fast-paced yet supportive atmosphere, requiring staff to be on their feet throughout their shifts. The workplace values flexibility and a strong customer service ethic.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
