Childcare Center (El Dorado Hills, CA and El Cerrito, CA) is seeking for Cook and Food Program
Developer to develop nutrition program, plan and organize activities of food service
program. Plan and prepare daily meals and snacks for children, adhering to USDA
Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) & state/local nutrition guidelines.
Create and maintain accurate records on dietary needs, allergies, and special meal
requests in accordance with CACFP/state regulations.
Nutrition Services is done for the purpose/s of directing the program nutrition
program and services. This position includes the planning, organizing,
operations, and activities of food service programs and the program’s kitchen,
including nutrition, sanitation, cost control, and purchasing.
Monitor food inventory, order
supplies, and manage budget effectively to minimize waste. Salary: $49,733.00-

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing food services within established timeframes (following the
program’s routines). - Managing records and data collection: Organize and maintain
computer/paper/app records related to food programs. Collect
observational and parent/teacher report data. - Developing cooking projects: create and produce weekly cooking
projects with children and request support for children with special
needs. - Planning menus (e.g. develop, prepare and evaluate menus; determine
the need for types and quantities of food, supplies, and equipment; etc.)
for the purpose of meeting requirements of the USDA National
standards, American Pediatrics, and program policies. - Collaborating with other administrators for the purpose of
implementing and/or maintaining services and programs within
established standards and state guidelines. - Maintaining financial and operational aspects of the program set with
administrator (e.g. purchese, maintain budget, communicates priorities
and concerns etc.) - Participating in meetings, workshops, and seminars for the purpose of
conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions
and effectively. - Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and training.
Inspecting Kitchen and food service operations for the purpose of
ensuring that services are being provided in accordance with health
standards and regulations.
Salary/Compensation: $49,733 - $50,000 per year
