We are seeking a Controls Engineer to lead automation and control system development at a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Buffalo, NY. This role will play a key part in optimizing plant performance through advanced controls, system integration, and continuous improvement initiatives

.This is a hands-on, high-impact position supporting a modern extrusion and polymer manufacturing operation focused on innovation, automation, and operational excellence

Key Responsibiliti

• esDesign, program, and implement PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for automated manufacturing process
• esTroubleshoot and resolve issues across controls, SCADA, IIoT, MES, and industrial networ
• ksPerform preventive maintenance, system updates, and continuous optimization of control syste
• msLead commissioning, startup, and validation of automation syste
• msPartner cross-functionally with engineering, IT, production, and quality teams to improve system reliability and efficien
• cyPlan and execute system upgrades, pilots, and new technology implementatio
• nsTrain operations and maintenance teams on system functionality and safe controls practic
• esSupport data acquisition, performance monitoring, and OEE improvement initiativ

• onsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fi
• eld10+ years of experience in industrial automation and controls engineer
• ingStrong experience with PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Rockwe
