Controls Engineer

We’re hiring a Controls Engineer to support operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role is hands-on—working directly with robotic weld cells, PLCs, and automation systems to keep production running efficiently and improve overall performance.

• 1st shift
• On site (Cleveland, Ohio)
• $100,000

What You’ll Do

• Program and troubleshoot robotic welding systems (Motoman/Yaskawa a plus)
• Support and optimize PLC-controlled automation (Allen-Bradley preferred)
• Improve weld processes (MIG/spot welding parameters, cycle time, quality)
• Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues on the floor
• Assist with new equipment launches and system integration
• Work closely with production and engineering teams

What We’re Looking For

• Controls/automation experience in manufacturing
• Robotic welding experience strongly preferred
• PLC programming and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work hands-on in a production environment
