A Leading Manufacturing Company located in Northern Morris County, NJ is searching for a hands-on Controller who will have the following responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all corporate accounting and finance functions, including general ledger, financial reporting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, tax, and compliance.
- Direct the preparation, review, and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Establish, implement, and maintain a strong internal control environment to ensure compliance with corporate policies, audit standards, and legal/regulatory guidelines.
- Oversee the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning to support strategic business objectives and operational growth.
- Provide financial analysis, reporting, and actionable insights to executive leadership to drive informed decision-making, profitability, and resource optimization.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury operations, and liquidity planning to support financial stability and capital efficiency.
- Partner cross-functionally with operations and senior leadership to evaluate business performance, identify risks, and develop solutions that improve financial results.
- Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives to strengthen accounting operations, improve accuracy, and support scalability.
- Serve as a strategic business partner to the executive team, advising on growth initiatives, capital allocation, risk management, and overall financial strategy.
Qualified candidates for the Controller role should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 10+ years of experience
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills required.
The total compensation range for this opportunity is $160,000 to $180,000 plus bonus with excellent benefits.
