Corporate Controller | High-Growth CPG Platform
StevenDouglas is engaged on a search for a Corporate Controller to build and scale the accounting function for a fast-growing, multi-brand consumer platform in the better-for-you beverage space.
This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role reporting directly to the CFO—ideal for someone who thrives in complexity, enjoys building systems from the ground up, and wants real influence on a growing business.
Headquarters will be based in the Plano area and everyone works on a hybrid schedule.
What You’ll Do
- Own and transform the month-end close across a multi-entity environment
- Lead technical accounting (inventory, COGS, revenue, consolidations)
- Build and scale cost accounting frameworks (BOMs, standard costing, margin visibility)
- Drive audit readiness, internal controls, and compliance
- Evaluate and optimize ERP systems, reporting, and data flows
- Partner cross-functionally with Ops, Supply Chain, and FP&A
- Lead and develop a distributed accounting team (onshore + offshore)
- Act as a strategic partner to the CFO on growth and performance
What We’re Looking For
- CPA required
- 8–12+ years (public accounting + industry strongly preferred
- Strong GAAP + cost accounting expertise
- Experience in CPG, manufacturing, or multi-entity environments
- Proven ability to build processes, improve systems, and scale accounting functions
- Comfortable in a hands-on, fast-paced, growth environment
- NetSuite experience preferred
