Join EthosEnergy as a Control Room Operator – Massachusetts Licensed 3rd Class Engineer located in Pittsfield, MA. Salary: $110,240 – $135,200 annually + Sign-On Bonus. We’re looking for a skilled Control Room Operator (CRO) to ensure safe, efficient power plant operations. In this critical role, you’ll manage all on-shift activities—from cold startups to emergency responses—while leveraging your expertise in troubleshooting, decision-making, and leadership.
What You’ll Do:
• Operate and monitor plant systems using DCS technology • Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards • Perform chemical analysis and control for steam, cooling, and condensate systems • Issue Lockout/Tagout and other safety procedures • Operate heavy equipment (manlifts, forklifts) and handle bulk chemicals
What We’re Looking For:
• MA 3rd Class Engineer License (required) Expectation to obtain 2nd Class Engineers license within 12 months of hire • U.S. citizenship • Strong experience with plant operations and DCS systems • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety protocols
