This is a full-time position located at the
Capitol Annex Building in Baton Rouge, LA.This primary functions of this position will be to oversee grants and contracts for the agency, records management for the agency, and fleet management for the agency.

Job Duties:
- Serves as grant agreement, contract award, and amendment staff for OCD programs. Originates, reviews and approves contract/grant applications, budgets, and amendment requests for completeness and conformance to departmental, agency, and state policies.
- Coordinates with staff as appropriate to complete a detailed and thorough scope of work for each project. Ensure that all contracts and amendments comply with regulatory and departmental requirements.
- Tracks the approval process of contracts/grants ensuring all necessary approvals are received.
- Performs close-out of contracts to ensure all funds are expended or carried forward to the new fiscal year. Coordinates with contractors to ensure all final report documents are complete in accordance with agreements. Ensure all contract monitors submit final contract evaluation forms.
- Serves as a primary contact person to work with CRT contracts reviewers and CRT legal counsel for questions about or actions needed on any agency contracts.
- Work with other contracts/grant staff to ensure consistency across all OCD grants and contracts.
- Serves as the fleet manager for OCD, ensuring maintenance and repairs of all vehicles in the fleet are conducted in a proactive manner to prolong the life of the vehicles.
- Tracks all expenses and mileage for monthly reports for all OCD fleet vehicles.
- Provides information to OCD Administration related to condition of all vehicles within OCD fleet and availability of replacement vehicles on state contract for new purchases.
- Manages distribution of fueltrack credit cards for OCD fleet and OCD vehicle rentals.
- Serves as the equipment manager for OCD, tracking inventory of equipment and electronics for all OCD facilities and staff.
- Coordinates with OCD staff and State Surplus staff to surplus furniture and equipment that is no longer in use.
- Develops and maintains the agency’s records retention policy in accordance with applicable state and federal legislation, regulations, and/or rules.
- Develops policies, recommends procedures, and implements guidelines for managing the agency’s records in accordance with the approved records retention plan.
- Assist with special projects as determined or assigned by the Assistant Secretary or Deputy Assistant Secretary.

- Appointment Type: This is a probational appointment. Current permanent status state employees may be required to accept a probational appointment.
- Work Schedule: This is a full-time position that reports in-office. This position may be required to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and/or overtime. This position may be required to travel.
