We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Contract Operations & Compliance Specialist to support a critical Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) transformation initiative within a fast-paced, global organization.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role requiring someone who can work directly within contracts and datasets to ensure data integrity, metadata accuracy, and migration readiness ahead of a major CLM system rollout.
Key Responsibilities
CLM Data Preparation & Migration
- Perform metadata cleansing, data mapping, and contract abstraction
- Review contracts (NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, amendments, etc.) to:
- extract key terms
- translate legal language into structured data fields
- Prepare contract data for migration between enterprise systems
- Ensure all data is validated, complete, and audit-ready prior to migration
- Support UAT/system testing within the CLM platform
Data Integrity & Compliance
- Conduct contract-level audits and validation checks
- Ensure:
- data accuracy
- completeness
- consistency across large datasets
- Identify and escalate:
- risks
- discrepancies
- performance gaps
- Support reporting and analysis for leadership
Vendor / OSP Oversight
- Oversee work performed by external service providers (OSP)
- Review and validate deliverables for:
- accuracy
- completeness
- timeliness
- Act as a quality control layer, ensuring high standards are maintained
Execution & Process Improvement
- Independently manage multiple workstreams end-to-end
- Ensure milestones are met with minimal supervision
- Identify and implement process improvements across contract workflows
- Support contract amendments, renewals, and reporting needs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 4–10 years of experience in:
- Contract Operations
- Contract Administration / Contract Analyst
- Legal Operations / CLM environments
Core Skills
- Ability to interpret contracts and extract key terms into structured data
- Strong attention to detail with experience managing high-volume datasets
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Excel / Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, data manipulation)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence and enforce standards
- Self-starter with strong ownership and accountability
Preferred Experience
- Experience with CLM platforms (e.g., Ironclad, DocuSign CLM, Icertis)
- Experience supporting:
- data migration
- system implementation / UAT testing
- Familiarity with contract management or vendor compliance systems
