PSC Contracts Manager – Pharmaceutical Operations & Supply Chain
Position Overview
LHH has partnered with a great company who is seeking an experienced PSC Contracts Manager to support contract management activities across a pharmaceutical supply chain organization. This role is responsible for drafting, administering, and executing a high volume of complex contracts while partnering closely with internal stakeholders across R&D, Clinical, CMC, Commercial, Finance, and Procurement Operations.
This is a hands‑on contract drafting and lifecycle management role, ideal for an experienced contracts professional with deep pharmaceutical supply chain experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and finalize Statements of Work (SOWs) and Change Orders using a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system
- Manage the full contract lifecycle from intake through execution, including routing, tracking, approvals, and signatures
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure contract terms are addressed and executed on time
- Attend cross‑functional and supplier‑facing meetings related to contract execution and scope
- Create purchase requisitions to initiate work under executed contracts
- Support invoice escalations and supplier payment issues in partnership with Procurement Operations and Accounts Payable
- Assist with budget forecasting, accruals, and month/quarter‑end close activities
- Maintain GxP and financial audit readiness
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Pharmaceutical Supply Chain processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree plus 7+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 3–5+ years of experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry
- Must have hands‑on contract drafting experience (this role is not sourcing‑focused)
- Experience drafting and managing:
- Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
- SOWs and Change Orders
- Contracts with CMOs, CROs, and laboratory vendors
- Experience managing contracts related to clinical and commercial supply chain operations
- Strong understanding of the end‑to‑end contract lifecycle
- Proficiency with CLM systems (Agiloft preferred) and procurement platforms such as Ariba and SAP
- Strong Excel skills (basic formulas, lookups, and data tracking)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across Clinical, CMC, R&D, Commercial, Finance, and Procurement Ops
Preferred Experience
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing or biologics agreements
- Supply chain and vendor management in a regulated environment
- Experience supporting drug development through commercial launch

Compensation & Benefits
- Location: Alameda, CA
- Work Arrangement: Full‑Time, Onsite (5 days/week)
- Employment Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
- Base Salary Range: $135,000 – $160,000 annually
- Annual Bonus: Target 10%
- Equity: RSUs provided
