The Contract Buyer supports a CNC manufacturing environment that produces precision components for medical and electrical manufacturing applications. This role backfills a recent resignation and is critical to maintaining continuity within the supply chain team while the department works toward full staffing. The Buyer focuses on purchasing metal raw materials and components, managing purchase orders, and coordinating closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure uninterrupted production.
Responsibilities
This position operates within a CNC manufacturing facility that produces precision components for medical and electrical applications. The Contract Buyer will be the only dedicated buyer on site and will work closely with a supply chain manager and a planner to support production needs. The role relies heavily on ERP systems, including platforms such as Epicor, to manage purchasing and inventory data. The environment is fast-paced and production-driven, requiring clear communication with internal teams and external suppliers to maintain uninterrupted material flow.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00/hr.
