Role Overview
The Content Manager owns the full content production cycle from concept and ideation through capture, editing, and distribution. This is a hands-on, in-person role for a creative professional who can think strategically about content and execute at a high level in the field.
This role is primarily focused on Meta platforms, with approximately 80% of time dedicated to creating organic social content and paid ad creative for Instagram and Facebook. The remaining 20% will support training videos, franchise-related content, and other video initiatives as needed. You will work closely with an offshore editing team and collaborate across marketing to produce content that drives brand awareness and franchise growth.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Production
- Concept, script, and plan content across Meta platforms with a strong point of view on what performs
- Capture video content at outdoor locations, branded environments, customer projects, and events in and around Austin
- Create both organic social content and paid advertising creative for Instagram and Facebook
- Support high-volume creative production for paid advertising campaigns, including generating multiple hooks, concepts, and variations for testing
- Collaborate with an offshore editing team on assembly and approval, with the opportunity to grow into a direct management role
- Own quality control on all final content before distribution
Platform Strategy & Distribution
- Produce organic social content for Instagram and Facebook, including before-and-after transformations, brand storytelling, customer projects, and franchise content
- Support paid Meta ad creative for campaigns distributed across a national franchise network
- Coordinate with the social media scheduler on posting cadence and distribution
- Partner with marketing leadership to continuously test and improve creative performance across Meta channels
What We Are Looking For
- Proficiency in CapCut and Premiere Pro, including captions
- Demonstrated experience creating and growing organic content on Instagram and Facebook
- Hands-on experience creating, testing, and optimizing Meta ad creative
- Strong understanding of what drives performance across both organic and paid social
- Proficient with camera and audio operations including vlog cameras, Sony cameras, gimbal usage, drone, DJI audio, and lighting
- Strong creative instincts with the ability to self-direct on location
- Based in Austin; occasional travel required
