As a Product Manager within the Consumer Bank Deposits team, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
 

Job responsibilities

  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Develops and maintain strong relationships across multiple product areas on the path to delivering Deposit 2.0
  • Seeks to find a meaningful balance between user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility, while managing the product delivery timeline
  •  Defines multi-year strategic themes and investment priorities aligned to Deposits franchise goals (growth, retention, profitability)
  • Socializes vision through crisp narratives (PRDs/one-pagers) and executive-ready updates; drives alignment and trade-off decisions
  • Establishes a continuous discovery cadence (qual/quant) and ensures insights translate into clear hypotheses and roadmap decisions
  • Defines acceptance criteria and “definition of done” that include controls, resiliency, and operational readiness—not just features

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Uses JIRA to manage epics/features, dependencies, and delivery health with transparent reporting
  • Demonstrated ownership of complex, cross-functional initiatives with measurable customer and business outcomes
  • Experience operating in regulated or risk-sensitive environments with strong controls mindset
  • Ability to define instrumentation/measurement plans and translate data into decisions and roadmap adjustments
  • Familiarity with agile delivery practices, release management, and operational readiness for scaled platforms
  • Establishes standard workflows and hygiene to improve predictability and stakeholder visibility

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Experience navigating multiple lines of business and control partners to deliver outcomes with shared ownership
  • Ability to drive alignment across competing priorities and manage ambiguity in fast-moving environments
  • Prior exposure to deposits, payments, or core banking modernization efforts (platform migration, servicing transformation, or reliability uplift)
