Our Transportation client in Midtown, NYC is looking for a Consultant Buyer for Goods and Services to come onsite hybrid 2/3 days a week. 12+month assignment. LOCALS ONLY.
Capable of contract management from inception to end of the entire process
Not just coordination
Driving the entire purchasing process
Customer management
Finding new vendors
Negotiating
Goods and Services purchasing
Government procurement a plus
Excellent communication skills
Articulate unable to communicate over video calls
Manage relationship with
The internal business management team
Gather the requirements and translated into an RFP
Able to deal with boots on ground to keep operations moving smoothly
Example dealing with facilities management, lease agreements, fueling, m maintenance, special project team, services, some equipment, purchasing and facilities.
