About the Role

Comrise is looking for the following: a strong, hands-on Construction Project Manager / Delivery Manager to join our team. We focus on high-end residential construction, Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), prefab housing, and innovative space products.

We are not looking for a purely administrative paper-pusher. We are seeking a gritty, organized, and proactive professional who can own project execution from design/permit through to installation and final delivery. What You’ll Do

As the Construction Project Manager, you will be the ultimate bridge between office planning, client expectations, and field execution. You will actively drive schedules, manage subcontractors, and ensure high standards of quality are met on every project.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Ownership: Coordinate residential, ADU, and prefab housing projects from initial kickoff to final client handover.
• Field & Office Synergy: Act as the central hub connecting superintendents, field crews, subcontractors, vendors, designers, and internal procurement teams.
• Schedule & Milestone Discipline: Manage project timelines, track site readiness, coordinate inspections, and oversee installation schedules.
• Subcontractor Management: Align scope, timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables directly with trade partners and construction crews.
• Proactive Risk Mitigation: Identify site risks early (utility complications, inspection bottlenecks, subcontractor gaps, change-orders) and solve them before they delay the project.
• Client & Internal Communication: Provide accurate construction progress updates to clients while maintaining clear internal documentation, SOPs, and reporting rhythms.

Who You Are (Ideal Profile)

You are construction-literate, highly structured, and possess a natural ability to drive accountability across multiple parties. You don't just report problems—you bring solutions. You are just as comfortable walking a muddy job site with a superintendent as you are presenting a schedule update to executive leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in residential construction project management, construction coordination, operations, or modular/prefab building environments.
• Deep understanding of construction sequencing, site coordination, inspections, and field execution.
• Proven track record managing multiple active projects simultaneously with tight schedule discipline.
• Exceptional issue-resolution, escalation, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to thrive in a fast-moving, evolving company environment.
• Mobility: Ability to visit various job sites across the Bay Area as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual Skills: Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred, particularly with experience coordinating with Mexican / Latin American construction crews and subcontractors.
• Direct experience with ADUs, prefab, modular, or residential infill projects.
• Deep familiarity with the Bay Area residential construction landscape and local permitting/inspection nuances.
• Proficiency with modern construction scheduling tools, CRM/project management software, and structured reporting.
• Backgrounds as a Construction PM, Assistant PM, Superintendent, Field Coordinator, or Construction Operations Manager.
