Job Overview:

A Construction Methods Specialist III ensures that natural gas pipeline systems, facilities, and service lines are installed, maintained, and repaired in compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., PHMSA, OSHA), engineering designs, and industry standards. This role involves monitoring construction sites, inspecting pipeline installations, and documenting compliance to ensure system integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry into the field work management system, ensuring accurate records and timely completion of work orders.
• Handle general office work as assigned.
• Interact with municipal officials, contractors, field workers, and customers to resolve construction conflicts or complaints.
• Provide non-disciplinary coaching on gas construction activities and techniques in accordance with operational standards.
• Assist construction supervisors in all aspects of their roles.
• Offer technical advisement to construction supervisors.
• Oversee technical projects and field activities related to gas construction to ensure safety and compliance, including live gas activities, NGA covered tasks, gas main and service installation, and restoration.
  

• Proficiency in managing Excel spreadsheets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Effective time management abilities.
• Current or previously held NGA OQs, with willingness to recertify.
• Valid driver’s license.
