This Construction Litigation Attorney role provides significant responsibility managing cases from early strategy through trial or arbitration. Key Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee construction litigation matters from initial filing through resolution.
• Handle discovery, depositions, and motion practice in complex construction disputes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Maintain direct client communication and build strong client relationships.
• Analyze construction law issues including mechanics’ liens, trust fund claims, and construction defect disputes.
• Ensure compliance with court deadlines and litigation schedules.
• Assist with trial preparation and arbitration proceedings when necessary.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation strategies.
• Manage case files, discovery documentation, and expert coordination.

Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Texas Bar required and active license to practice law in Texas.
• 7–12 years of experience practicing as a Construction Litigation Attorney or complex commercial litigation attorney.
• Experience handling construction disputes, including construction defect, lien, and trust fund claims.
• Strong legal writing and motion practice skills.
• Trial and/or arbitration experience preferred.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage litigation cases independently while collaborating with legal teams.
