Construction Laborer- IMMEDIATE OPENINGS

Location: Spencer, IA

Pay: $18-$20/hour

Hours: Monday-Friday

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Laborer to assist in the construction of high‑quality post‑frame buildings. This position plays a key role on the jobsite by supporting the crew with hands‑on construction tasks, safe tool usage, and maintaining an organized work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working outdoors.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the construction of post‑frame buildings, including agricultural, commercial, residential, and equine structures
• Use hand and power tools such as drills, saws, impact drivers, nail guns, and grinders safely and efficiently
• Measure, mark, and cut materials accurately using a tape measure and other layout tools
• Load, unload, move, and organize building materials and equipment
• Support skilled crew members with framing, siding, roofing, and general assembly tasks
• Perform site preparation, cleanup, and material staging to keep jobsites safe and organized
• Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and OSHA regulations

Qualifications:

• Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools accurately
• Willingness to learn construction techniques and follow detailed instructions
• Physical ability to lift 50–75 lbs, work at heights when required, and perform manual labor
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spencer, IA.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Spencer,IA.
