Summary:

The Construction Inspection Manager is a leadership role responsible for overseeing civil and infrastructure construction projects and managing a team of construction inspectors and contract administrators. The position involves coordinating the transition from design to construction, supervising field inspections, and ensuring quality control throughout project execution and close-out. This role also requires collaboration with engineering teams, clients, and administrative staff while managing schedules, staffing, and construction operations. The manager will mentor inspection staff, enforce company policies, and support training and professional development within the team.

Job Requirements:

  • Manage construction inspection operations, staff assignments, and project scheduling for civil and infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee construction phase activities including payment certifications, field changes, and coordination with design teams and clients.
  • Lead communication across inspection teams while ensuring compliance with quality control and company policies.

Job Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in civil or infrastructure construction inspection and project management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with proficiency in inspection software and Microsoft Office.
  • Relevant certifications preferred such as OSHA 10/30, NICET (I–III), ACI Field Technician, NJDOT Traffic Control Coordinator, and Work Zone Safety training.
