Construction Inspection Manager

💰 Salary: $94,000 – $122,000/year + full benefits
We are looking for an experienced Construction Inspection Manager to lead field inspection operations for major civil and infrastructure projects.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who knows how to run field teams, manage complex construction schedules, and ensure quality across large-scale public infrastructure projects.
🔎 What you’ll be leading
You’ll oversee a team of construction inspectors and contract administrators responsible for a wide range of projects, including:
- Municipal road rehabilitation and reconstruction
- Underground utility systems (water, sewer, drainage)
- Parks and recreational infrastructure
- Private land development projects
- Occasional coordination on water/wastewater and vertical construction projects
🏗️ What you’ll do
- Lead construction phase planning from preconstruction through close-out
- Manage field inspection teams and daily operations
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation across projects
- Oversee quality control and payment certifications
- Review and manage field changes, including cost and schedule impacts
- Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and clients
- Mentor and develop inspection staff
- Enforce company standards, policies, and procedures in the field
🧠 What we’re looking for
- 15+ years of experience in civil and infrastructure construction
- Strong background in inspection, field operations, or construction management
- Proven leadership experience managing teams in the field
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Experience with construction inspection software and Microsoft Office
🎓 Nice to have certifications
- OSHA 10 / OSHA 30
- NICET Level I–III
- ACI Field Technician Certification
- NJDOT Traffic Control / Work Zone Safety
- Confined Space Training
