Construction Estimator

This opportunity is with a privately held commercial contractor experiencing steady, planned growth. The company delivers approximately $175M in annual construction volume and maintains a balanced mix of negotiated and competitive work across multiple commercial sectors.

This is a newly created position to support increased preconstruction demand due to an influx of project work in industrial, commercial, and transportation markets.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with budgeting and cost modeling during early design phases
• Coordinate subcontractor pricing and scope coverage
• Participate in value engineering and cost control discussions
• Support buyout and handoff to project management
• Work closely with operations and leadership throughout preconstruction

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in preconstruction or estimating within commercial construction
• Exposure to conceptual estimating, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination
• Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
