Position Overview

As an Electrical Superintendent, you will oversee daily field operations and play a vital role in planning and executing construction projects. Working in partnership with the Electrical Project Manager, you will provide on-site leadership, guide and mentor assistant superintendents, foremen, and tradespeople, and coordinate activities with subcontractors.

You will be responsible for maintaining strict safety standards, ensuring quality control, and keeping projects on schedule. Your ability to foster teamwork and uphold accountability will directly contribute to successful project outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Electrical Superintendent managing crews on projects valued at $400,000 or more (commercial, industrial, or government projects)
  • Hands-on field experience in electrical installation; government or large-scale commercial work preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent on medical or large-scale projects, overseeing scheduling, procurement, safety, quality control, and field operations
  • Familiarity with design-build project delivery is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction safety practices
  • CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30 certifications (training can be provided)
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional training in construction management or electrical trades preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and construction-related software such as McCormick, Primavera, BIM, or Revit
